About this Project

IreduceCO2 is a politically neutral and totally independent project which stands for long term climate protection. In cooperation with our partners we want to motivate individuals and their families, companies, organizations and friends etc.  to economize our precious resources and herewith reduce CO2 emissions.

We focus on personal responsability. All activities within the project are volontary. The main aim is the personal reduction of resource consumption. To help achieve this the Website offers helpful information and links to other organisations on the same subject. CO2-compensation is the second aim behind the goal of primary CO2 reduction; In this area we work closely with myclimate.

IreduceCO2 is financially autonomous, receives no government funding  or sponsoring from interest groups whatsoever. All monies received as CO2-compensation payments go directly and without any deduction to the projects of our projectpartner myclimate.

All expenditures as well as donations, grants, financial support for administration and operation of IreduceCO2.info will be disclosed on this Homepage. In this matter our policy is total transparency. Administrative cost will be held as low as possible by socage and declared sponsored activities.

IreduceCO2 has no full time personnel and can therefore not be reached by phone. Send us an email to  info( at )ICHreduziereCO2.info. And should the impression arise that this project appears in a very decent manner compared to other climate projects, this is absolutely comprehensible: we are not interested in self-portrayal; instead we want to motivate individuals to do something for our climate, and nothing else.
